The Villages
Residential areas are arranged in village-style neighborhoods, each offering an appealing mix of home sizes and architectural styles – and its own unique personality and charm. All 10 villages feature a centrally located K-8 school and adjacent neighborhood park. Like the hometowns of old, village streets are lined with shade trees. Classic lampposts and park benches evoke the feeling of an era when attention to detail was paramount.

New Schools in the Neighborhood
Each village has its own K-8 school and adjacent park. So your children can walk or bike easily. A new high school and Delta College campus are proposed.

Part of the Lammersville Elementary School District, the K-8 schools at Mountain House are state-of-the-art campuses each designed to serve 750 to 850 students. Each features a computer lab, a spacious multi-purpose rooms, kindergarten classrooms and a separate play area, and a central courtyard. Music, art and physical education are all part of the regular curriculum, and classes and programs are structured to recognize and respect cultural diversity.

After school activities include competitive sports (basketball, volleyball, cheerleading), band, choir, and string ensemble.

The Lammersville Elementary School District, in existence for some 130 years, has the second highest API scores in San Joaquin County in 2006. The district has met all 20 benchmarks in the “No Child Left Behind” program.

High school students currently attend Tracy High School, part of the Tracy School District.

Town Center
Like the traditional “Main Street,” this community hub beckons with its turn-of-the-century charm – and its vibrancy! Here you’ll find relaxing plazas filled with opportunities for shopping, entertainment and dining, or just gathering with friends. You’ll also find an array of outstanding civic amenities, such as a state-of-the-art library and a full-featured community recreation center with swimming pools, gym, exercise studios, community event room and a year-round schedule of classes and programs for all ages.

Parks and Outdoor Recreation
Step outside into a bounty of nature at Mountain House! More than 750 acres of parks and open space are planned for the community. These green getaways include 81-acre Mountain House Creek Community Park, and 82-acre Old River Regional Park with paths and benches along the river banks. Three major community parks have ballfields, tennis and basketball courts, multi-purpose fields, play structures, walking trails and picnic areas. For neighborhood recreation, each village has its own park with amenities appealing to all ages, and the world-class Couples-Bates course at Trilogy makes it easy to get in a day of golf anytime you choose.

Mountain House Community Services District (MHCSD)
To ensure that the community’s infrastructure remains strong, Mountain House has established its own community services district. The MHCSD manages all utilities for Mountain House, as well as maintains parks, landscaping, streetlights, and garbage recycling and disposal. Comprehensive civic amenities also include two fire stations and a police substation on site.
